Bingo night

On April 16, 2026, the MTJV Team and Gowanus Houses Tenant Association hosted a free Community Bingo Night! Members of the MTJV Team were also available to answer any questions about the renovation project.

Section 3 Job Fair

On November 3, 2025 MTJV team hosted the Section 3 Career Fair, where 33 employment organizations tabled for residents interested in labor and non-labor positions, ranging from electrical and plumbing to housekeeping and administration.

Model Unit Tours

In October 2025, the Mega Technico JV Team unveiled the renovated model unit at Gowanus Houses, where residents had the opportunity to tour the new model unit and see the new kitchen and bathroom upgrades.

Family Day Support

The MTJV team had an amazing time being part of Gowanus Houses’ 2025 Family Day on July 26th.

It was a great afternoon filled with popcorn, gaming, giveaways, and plenty of family fun. Whether folks stopped by to learn more about the upcoming renovations and temporary relocation process, or just to catch up with neighbors, we hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did.

Some of our giveaway items included ballpoint pens, jump ropes, paper fans, electric fans, snacks and drinks.

Bathroom & Kitchen Voting Campaign Events

In May and June 2025, the MTJV team engaged residents in different voting campaign events. to encourage them to vote for their bathroom and kitchen options.

Voting events included tabling, bingo night, and a pizza party!

Resident Engagement Office Grand Opening

On April 3rd, 2025, the MTJV team announced the opening of the Resident Engagement Office.

Since the opening, the Resident Engagement team has been out in the community connecting with residents, sharing important updates, and answering questions.
